OUR MISSION:

TO EDUCATE AND PREPARE OUR COMMUNITY FOR THE AGING PROCESS BY CONDUCTING

COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS. TO REMOVE THE STIGMA OF

AGING IN OUR COMMUNITY. TO SUPPORT OLDER ADULTS, INCLUDING THOSE WITH

DISABILITIES SUCH AS MENTAL, COGNITIVE, OR PHYSICAL, WITHOUT THE OPTIONS FOR SUPPORT OR RESOURCES.

When thinking about Christmas, we think about a variety of things...... the love of Jesus, family,

Christmas trees, gifts, etc., and so many of the same things we often relate to Christmas can

also be related to Embracing the Aged. To date we have educated several seniors and/or their

families and we build relationships with these wonderful people and their families. 

Just like the Christmas tree, Embracing the Aged is built on a firm foundation representing our

trunk, and so many amazing resources that represent our many branches that make the

organization what it is. This will be the second year Embracing the Aged has hosted the Trail of 

Trees as a fundraiser to help meet those needs, and this year it will be in conjunction with the 

White Christmas: a 1954 Ball in efforts to raise funds to continue to freely provide education to

seniors in our region. In the true spirit of Christmas, every sponsorship, donation, and ticket

purchases are giving the gift of love and generosity to ensure that as many seniors are educated

and supported as needed, our goal is to reach them all.

White Christmas - A 1954 BALL & THE TRAIL OF TREES -

This event is at Commonwealth Event Center 5955 US-60, Paducah, KY, on Thursday, December 5th at 5:30pm. Everyone

is encouraged to dress up like the 1954 White Christmas Movie! A meal will be served and there

will be a silent auction and a live auction of designer decorated 8ft Christmas trees. These trees
will be put together securely to easily transport to your home to be set up.
